My very first wedding shoot of the high season and BOY was it a dark 'n' stormy day {outside}! Inside, the guests and the happy couple were glowing with joy {cheesey, i know}.

Evan & company {6. 14. 08}

Last weekend I finally got to do a shoot with my old high school pal, Brittany, with her beau and son, Evan. The weather was perfect, but the little one was NOT so fond of all my snapping - which was amusing.

Mixology @ the Eiteljorg

The Eiteljorg (Indianapolis) was a-buzz (literally) during "Mixology," sponsored by Canadian Mist. I covered this event for www.nuvo.net and learned all sorts of new things about being a master drink mix-stress (woot!).

as mixology students, we learned ALL sorts of ways to mix the whiskey-esque alcohol, Canadian Mist (ooh - aah).




Not only did we get cheap drinks but f-a-b hors d'oeuvres - YUM.


and the dessert table was even BETTER! ;)


The "Mixologist" expert taught us about the history of alcohol and how to best mix with Canadian Mist ::yawn::. The best part was when he handed out his concoctions to lucky audience members/students!

Word to My Momma {Mothers Day lunch in Danville, IN}

To celebrate my incredible, gorgeous mum, i took her to lunch at the most delish and beautiful cafe! We enjoyed brie and ham toasted sandwiches, carrot cake and truffles at the Courthouse Grounds (Danville, IN).
I can't wait to go back! :)

menagerie '08

i should have posted this at least a month ago, but, you know how it goes ...
so if you know me, you know i simply ADORE ABSURD+art+beauty.

Evening of Irish: Dinner at the Claddaugh

my mum and i enjoyed as close to an irish feast as we could (without being IN ireland) at the claddaugh pub @ metropolis.

the best, creamiest spinachy/artichoke dip - soft 'n' crispy fries/aka: chips - goooey sandwiches and baileys 'n' coffee sent us soaring off to a gluttenous heaven (where i'd hope to run into some true irish blokes - the only thing lacking during our claddaugh visit - ha).
